a physical exhibition, currently touring in the US, showing a large collection of real-world information visualizations to 'inspire cross-disciplinary discussion on how to best track & communicate human activity & scientific progress on a global scale'. the online component links to a selected series of maps & their makers along with detailed explanations of why these maps work. users can also 'compare & contrast' various visualization approaches next to each other.
