(infosthetics @ dux 2005) a continuously repeating wall projection showing 100,000 works from the permanent collection at the Fine Arts Museum in San Francisco, spanning hundreds of cultures & thousands of years, shown chronollogically, from the present to the past. it is a typical example of Rebecca Bollinger's video installations, that tend to demonstrate how information landscapes can reveal otherwise imperceptible ordering processes.
currently shown at the truly magnificent, brand-new de Young museum designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
