gapminder development trends

a large collection of interactive data visualizations showing human development trends from the whole world over time. this non-profit venture attempts to develop free software that visualises human world development statistical data. free software called 'trendalyzer' turns boring time series of development statistics into attractive moving graphics. the software imports data from excel & shows moving graphics on the screen, as exported Flash files or as images in Powerpoint & in other formats.
collaboration with United Nations Division of Statistic & UNDP aims to visualize the fulfillment of millennium development goals with several World Development Charts. the main project during the coming 3 years is a collaboration with UN Statistic Division with the aim to visualize UN common database with Trendalyzer on a test website & to improve the software for wider use.
