musical graph theory
3 October 2006

an interesting online audio-visual experience that allows users to navigate around 61 different short looping musical fragments to explore a dynamic composition for solo violin. the individual music loops & their connections are visually represented as a normal network graph. the interface displays the current location within the 'graph' of musical fragments & lets users preview & select from the possibilities fo where to go next. the choices users make affect future concert performances of this work.
see also giant steps music animation & wolfram tones.
