I tried to play it, but YouTube says that Sony Pictures forced them to remove the video. Evil YouTube, helping to put a spotlight onto Sony's creative work. Makes me want to *not* watch the video, since Sony's being an asshat about it.

Anyway, if there's a more-direct way of seeing it, please update this post with the improved link ...

I was not aware Sony pictures has the rights on Maps of War creations?

The map makes it look as though Christianity in Russia only came in the last few centuries. Truth is, somewhere near 300 AD there was a great split in Christianity (over who should be in charge). After this time, the Bishop in Rome became the Pope and Christianity / Catholicism in Western Europe was under him, while the Bishop in Constantinople became the head of the Orthodox church of Greece and of the areas which later on became the Russian federation.

As I recall, Russia was chiefly an orthodox (Christian) nation and sometime a few centuries after their trouble with the Mongols, they had new troubles with Muslims that, well, continue today (see Chechnya).

Not taking sides, of course, just .. picking nits I guess. Neat movie, all the same.
