how does 200 calories look like?

12 January 2007

200calories.jpg
a collection of photographs of different types of food items that contain exactly 200 calories, sorted from low to high calorie density. "when you consider that an entire plate of broccoli contains the same number of calories as a small spoonful of peanut butter, you might think twice the next time you decide what to eat."

Re: the title.

You mean what, not how. :)

Where are the 200 pics?

patrick - I don't think that extra character in 'what' would fit into the heading style!

For non-calorie-counting people, the equivalent is ~840 kJ.

I really liked the pictures in the first place. however, upon closer inspection, I thought that some kind of common size or volume reference should have been placed in each of those. As they ar now, they show heaps and volume, but one can not grasp the real-world difference intuetively.
Something like a pack of cigarettes in every photo..--???
