a huge collection of over 200,000 images taken on the roof of De Balie, Amsterdam. the Sky Catcher installation takes a picture every 5 minutes of the ever-changing skies. the skies, mostly strewn with clouds, have played a important role in the Netherlands' visual arts for many centuries, because of their painterly & poetic qualities.
