a collection of video podcasts (or "gapcasts") by Hans Rosling, taken from the movie "A Slum Insight", developed by Gapminder in collaboration with UN-Habitat & ITC for the UN Habitat conference.
the first movie shows how economic growth, public health & sexual rights have changed in Sweden from 1709 to 2004. 300 years of Swedish progress covers today´s disparity from Sierra Leone to Japan.
the second movie focuses on the urban challenge, showing the last 40 years of development in urbanization & economic growth.
