a short video summarizing some of the most important characteristics of students today. this includes a large amount of statistical aspects (collected & analyzed by the students themselves) such as how they learn, what they need to learn, their goals, hopes, dreams & what kinds of changes they will experience in their lifetime.
while not using any infographical illustrations, the presentation of the many numerical facts is simple but convincing.

I think it's worth reflecting on the fact that this video had far greater impact, on me at least, than 95% of the 'fancy' infographical artifacts I see.
"Simple but convincing" is what it's all about.

a girl at my uni committed suicide by jumping off the roof...i saw her lying on the floor, dead. our current education is spirraling us uncontrolably into a dead end...very dead.

The music is catchy and the presentation original and fast-paced but the data, while it may jibe with our prejudices, is worth next to nil being off-handedly self-reported. If one asks point-blank a bunch of people “On average, how many pages do you write for your classes each semester?", does anyone really think their answer is going to be remotely accurate? These aren't data in an objective, experimental way, they're an aggregation of prejudices.
Critical thinking is what we should all be learning...
