an introductionary website for a future study, titled 19.20.21, of "19" cities, with "20" million people in the "21"st century.

the online website shows an animated progression of the world's largest cities through time. for instance, in 1000, the largest city in the world was Cordova, Spain & by 1500, 4 of the top 10 were in China & 1 was in Nepal.

slick transitions but remarkably little information. i recognize it's more of a prospectus than a report, but still i was wanting more facts and less hype.

I agree with the first commenter. Good idea, crappy presentation. What's with the data points sliding in from the right? Powerpoint aesthetics? Tonnes of clutter and no attempt to quantify the data points visually, except by emphasising the largest city.
