spam_subject_line.jpg
an ongoing series of typographic works based on the subject lines of spam emails arriving to the artist's computer. removed from their original context, these nonsense & nuisance messages are recycled into amusing, entertaining & sometimes inspirational meditations for modern life.

if you appreciate the free-form hand-drawn aesthetics, be sure to consider Hand Job, a beautiful book dedicated to hand-drawn typography.

I saw those images on Flickr awhile ago and loved them. It's great to see them on your blog too. I have a spam image project that's a bit different but what the heck:

These are great, I love the illustrative style, it's so refreshing to see spam being turned into something good!

Really nice drawings, you really start to believe the stuff ;-)
Mededeler (the dutch Announcer) also made a booklet (not with drawings however) inspired by the 'information' found in his spambox. It's worth reading from the beginning till the end.
