infosthetics will be presenting at 2 festivals in the next week. on Monday September 15, I will present at C.STEM Breeding Objects in Torino (Italy), which focuses on a selection of visionary projects anticipating future developments in design process & technologies. on Saturday 20 September, more info-aesthetic wonders can be admired at the New Media Meeting in Norrköping (Sweden), which explored the visionary digital landscapes of playful creativity. both events are packed with presentations of impressive guest speakers, artists & projects.

I really hope to see you there if you happen to be in the neighborhood, & look forward to any tips you might have about "must see" places in and around those places!

(now off to the airport)

great to hear that NMM will be honored by a visit from the infosthetics crew!

I spent my college years in Norrköping, and also a few more as assistant professor at the campus, working with the very same people who organize NMM.

I am sure that you will be treated to a tour of the old industrial landscape, which is both aesthetically pleasing and an interesting historical real world document. The museum of work usually has really nice exhibitions as well, that's located right in the middle of mentioned landscape.

The chimney that's submersed in the river is a visualization of the old industries sinking away and giving space to the new knowledge based context that now resides in the old factory buildings.

If you feel like taking a walk, I'd recommend walking past the university buildings along the river, this will take you up into a very nice park, where you can walk along the water up to a pretty old bridge which lends to a nice Kodak moment.

The city library at least used to top the cuntrywide statistics on number of visits per year for a city library. They had about a million visits during 2005, which is a lot for such a relatively small town.

Good luck with your visit!
