Unfortunately to my mind video is relatively boring and reminds a lot "Persepolis" cartoon.
Very well made video !
Deserves more eyes.
Petr,
It's more of a short blurb commercial, a sequential info piece to dispense a simple idea, not a complex story. The story is for the blogs. Sorry it didn't have zippy cars or whatever it is you wanted.
mmmm well what else just a video
I agree with the general sentiment of the video that Iran's government is repressive and that Iran has a lot of bloggers. But as an historical piece, it's a failure.
The video skips over arguably the largest and most important part of recent Iranian history, especially with regards to understanding Iranian opinions and motivations from an American perspective. (which I'm assuming the majority of the people reading this are)
One of the first sentences in the video is as follows, "Iran was a monarchy ruled by a shah until the 1979 revolution."
Iran actually used to be a democracy, and the shah was in power because the CIA helped organize a coup to place him in power in 1953 because he was friendlier to American oil interests.
Anybody that is interested in this history can read a bit more about that here.

Sorry for going off on this, but there's so much history that is basically whitewashed over and most Americans have no idea what their government has done.
People do like to complain, don't they? I thought it got the point across...I had no idea there were so many Iranian bloggers! Of course, what is it with Iran political animations ;)
Whatever works...
50 of 140 seconds of this video are credits.
Its not bad. I like the animation. Kinda pumps you up... but for what?
Great effort! However, stealing Persepolise animation directly is wrong...The whole peace is compromised by segments stolen from that movie.
