If you considered the just-posted animated infographic "Lisbon Treaty" too textual or too direct, you will definitely love this one.

"An Eye for an Eye" is a satirical short film using only visual signs and symbols in order to tell story. The movie was inspired by Gandhi's quote: "An eye for an eye will quickly leave the whole world blind". The film glimpses into the timeline of events that have unfolded since the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. It explores the conflict between the West and Islam from a satirical point of view, in order to make the point that 2 wrongs do not make a right. The main visual concept is based on retro computer games to show how little peoples lives are worth in this pointless war, and that no sides have won since 9/11.

Great work! "An eye for an eye" makes the precise point that violence just generates more violence.

Really good! It gives emphasis on how futile the war on terror has been.

I like the scene with oilfields and the weapons of mass destruction in front of them.

Powerful way to tell the story without the use of text ... and really even sound wasn't required. The whole historical reference was there, all visual and told in a captivating, very simple way.

Good compilation. Gandhi is misspelled at the end.

What a stupid video. Even an idiot knows these Islamists are inherently evil - what do ya mean to show their families dying and shit? Bush dealt with them with an iron fist - Obama is a pansy. Death to Islamists. Christianity rules. Palin for 2012! Vote now all my white christian and jewish brethren!!

The comment above is a good example of how religion seems to be the problem and not the answer. The trouble with religion is that, different faiths claim that their book holds the truth and absolute revelations on how God wishes us to live our lives.
However, certainty about the next life is incompatible with tolerance in this one.
Respect for other faiths is not an attitude that God seems to endorse, as people have and continue passionately reiterating the errors of other faiths and granting themselves warrants to kill others who disagree with their beliefs.
