California Stimulus Map [recovery.ca.gov] provides information about projects known to have been awarded Recovery funding within the geographic boundaries of California, divided by county or city.

Designed by Stamen Design, the geographical map is accompanied by a sort of stacked bar graph on the right side, with a column of animated panel that clarify the individual projects and budgets in detail, ordered by Budget, Type, Capita or Latitude. All recovery expenditures are divided by categories such as Transportation, Energy, Public Safety, Education, and so on, each assigned a separate color. Pie charts, located in the centre of each of county, show the distribution of local expenditures by category.
