End of Year Top Albums 2010 [zoho.co.uk] provides a visual summary of the most successful music albums in 2010, based on the aggregation of a large variety of music rankings and charts, ranging from Amazon.com's list, over the Daily Telegraph to Rolling Stone and The Times).

While the default visualization is already sufficiently impressive, a table view provides an additional overview of all the albums overall ranking, genres and chart appearances. One is also able to filter "charts" for specific genres.

From a design standpoint, what software and how did the designers get the genres to wrap around the circle to fan out so nicely from the circle? I'm working on something similar and I tried to use text wrap in InDesign CS4 but the results of using text wrap doesn't allow the block of text I have to "fan out," it more or less stays on the same baseline plane (if that makes sense) and doesn't curve around as nicely as this graphic shows. Can anyone offer me some suggestions? I would be so appreciative.
