echo_audible_network.jpga group of computers that listen & talk to each other by repeating audio signals recorded by their microphones. the screens visualise the nature of the communication taking place (eg: volume).

Possibly not very special, but a nice coincidence:

Some friends and I played with our mobile phones just this weekend. We simply called each other sitting in the same room, and chatted into the microphones, while varying the distances between the phones. The result was a distorted, spacy soundscape.
