a music player similar to iTunes & Windows Media Player with functionality to organize a music collection in an easily accessible way. it is based on emperical evidence that most humans are able to create, with explanation, a strong link between a piece of music they are listening to & a specific color.
therefore, this application enables the creation of patterns in the mind, mapping similar ranges of colors to similar pieces of music. the music library is presented as a 2D "colour map". users can create playlists by dragging boxes around the colors of music they wish to play.

I like this idea alot - but it would be better as a plugin to a full featured player - this way he could piggyback of a foobar or musikcube etc.
So, now I know why I colour code my CD collection...
