an interesting online service that allows users to explore & share insights with others, based on stored datasets about politics, economics, weather, sports, business & more. more specifically, the website allows people to explore popular or obscure datasets, search for patterns while surfing the colorful graphs, datasets & opinions, & share these insights by posting graphs to blogs or websites.

will this be the YouTube for data visualization?

Swivel reminded me of the work that IBM is currently doing at their Visual Communications Lab. Fernanda ViƩgas gave an interesting talk about it at IDEA 2006 in Seattle. Slides and MP3 of the talk are available online (the app isn't ready for public consumption yet).
