A commercially available wallpaper pattern based on the news headlines from the New York Times. The headlines are organized chronologically and color-coded as subject matter is mapped unto a rainbow legend (see illustration below). Subsequently, global, national, and local events generate a continuous stream of news from which color patterns emerge.
