For those playing with the API as well: I just learned that it is indeed possible to connect multiple values from one facet in a query:
query=bush per_facet:[BUSH, GEORGE W] per_facet:[CLINTON, BILL]
Just a note to say that the developer has fixed the single-facet issue.
This is an amazing resource. You can click on multiple facets, and add a search term to do some really powerful discovery.
