This mural visualization map has been hand-painted within a building of the fire department of Ulvenhout (The Netherlands), and reveals the exact geographical locations of all accidents or fires the department reacted to in the last 10 years.

The fire department is located right beside a highway, on which many actions took place. As a result, one can perceive the continuous highway shape in the data graphic. More information is available at the mural's designers, Stay Nice [staynice.nl] (scroll down).

This piece of art (we are really happy with) is not painted but printed. It gives an impression of 2,5 years of our work. All the symbols used have a specific meaning. On the left you see some black circles. This symbol represents a car on fire. You can follow the symbols to the right and therefore recognize highway A16 from Antwerp to Rotterdam on the left with industrial area: Hazeldonk on the left bottom. You can also see the A58 from Breda (knooppunt Galder) to Tilburg going from left to right. The big circle in the middle is our fire departement
