a programmable display on the back of a shirt upon which one can flash messages, images or even a sound-responsive light show. the display panels themselves are completely flexible, & the clothing is washable. I foresee some potential visualization applications: see-through invisibility cloaking, sensor-based mood messages (e.g. 'stay away', 'hug me'), collaborative gaming (play pong on your neighbor's shirt in the train), real-time food intake displays, ...
