an open, free database from the United Nations of over 55 million records. the website brings UN statistical databases within easy reach of users, allowing them to search & download a variety of statistical resources of the UN system. it is reminiscent of the final part of Hans Rosling's famous TED talk, to free & unify all global statistics to be explored, analyzed & visualized. in addition, it aims to educate users about the importance of statistics for evidence-based policy & decision making, & to assist National Statistical Offices of member countries to strengthen their data dissemination capabilities.

available datasets are multifold, & include trade statistics, key indicators, greenhouse gas inventory, internet users, & many many more. you might also appreciate Worldbank's online database.
