ambient devices, known from the ambient orb, beacon, dashboard & weather forecaster, has announced a 'weather forecasting umbrella'. the umbrella has a handle that pulses blue light when rain is predicted, so you are reminded to take it with you when leaving. the device knows where it is & can download the local weather report as it is wirelessly connected to a proprietary data communication network.
