The high-tech TwitterVision [twittervision.com] and cute TwittEarth [twittearth.com] visualizations are both based on the same familiar concept: the representation of live tweets, mapped on an interactive 3D earth globe.

Other Twitter visualizations include Twitter Blocks, Twistori, TweetWheel, TwitArcs, Social Collider, Social Weather Mapping, Twitt3D, Just Landed and Twitter Mood Carousel.

Other globe mapping include Facebook Interactions, Google's Information Display at GooglePlex, 3D Live Stats, the still impressive InfoMagnet and Google Proximity between Cities.
